Way of Mercy

The Way of Mercy was created for the Holy Year of Mercy celebrated from December 2015 until November 2016. It was a way to continue the prayer experience of the Door of Mercy which was installed in the entrance of the North Lower Deambulatory leading to the Immaculate-Conception Chapel (Lower Church). Following the passing of the Door of Mercy, pilgrims where invited to continue discovering the Mercy of God through the life experience of Blessed and Saints of Canada. These are the same witnesses of the grace of God we find on the paintings of the Immaculate-Conception Chapel.

Now that the Holy Year of Mercy has ended, the Door has been removed, but the Way of Mercy remains in the Lower Deambulatory to allow pilgrims to continue to experience the Mercy of God through the lives of those Saints and Blessed. You can also do this prayer on this page.
