The fresco of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré features, in an architectural representation, five paintings like post cards in the style of the colourful era.

Themes from the history of the Town and Shrine of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré are represented, such as:

  • the life the laity and religious who contributed to its development
  • the rural aspect
  • the religious heritage
  • the artistic influence
  • the First Nations
  • the river
  • the village
  • the tourist attractions and activities
  • the major events

The design and construction of this architectural representation was entrusted to Murale Création, supported by a scientific committee of a dozen people. Inauguration of the fresco will take place in June. In addition to the Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Shrine, it was made possible thanks to the contributions of many partners, the main ones being: the Caisse populaire Desjardins Mont-Sainte-Anne, the Commission de la capitale nationale du Québec and the Town of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré.
